Most photographers these days are guilty of not printing enough pictures, but Canon’slatest printer may make it easier to change this behaviour. The Canon Zoemini is a tiny printer capable of making instant prints and is no bigger than your smartphone. In fact the Zoemini tips the scales at just 160g and measures 118mm x 82mm x 19mm – making it truly pocket-friendly.

The compact printer makes 5×7.6cm (2x3inch) prints which have peel-and-stick backs and Canon say can be used to ‘personalise everyday items such as laptops, mobile covers, bags, mirrors or bedroom walls.’

Connecting to the Canon Mini Print app on your smartphone, photographers can get creative with their images and add a selection of filters, frames and AR effects. There’s also a tiling function, enabling the creation of larger posters or images made up of four or nine prints, as well as a selection of collage templates. The app is free to download from the App store and Google Play.

The Zoemini is powered via rechargeable battery and come in three colour combos: Rose Gold/White, White/Silver and Black/Slate Grey. Canon explains the Zoemini features ZINK technology, meaning zero ink is required and each model comes with a starter pack of 10 x Canon ZINK photo paper, which is water and tear resistant – additional paper can be bought in 20 or 50 sheet packs.

The Canon Zoemini is available to buy now and will cost UK photographers £119.99, while European shooters will pay €139.99.
