The Mavic Pro (http://digit.re/DJIMavPro) is portable and capable, but is it durable?
The Mavic Pro is a superb flying camera that is extremely compact. With the form factor, you’ll want to take it everywhere with you. Therefore we think it is worth knowing if the Mavic Pro is well build and durable.
Surprisingly the Mavic Pro survived almost all tests, except the heavy rain test which damaged its vision sensor. Flying the drone for any prolonged period in the rain risks damaging its sensors. Otherwise the Mavic Pro is extremely tough. With reasonable care, your Mavic Pro should last a very very long time.
Caution: Your drone should be checked by the manufacturer after any major damage, before flying again. Always fly your drone responsibly.
Note: If your Mavic Pro got wet, do not dry it in rice. Rice could easily get inside the Mavic Pro through its vent.
The DJI Mavic Pro is a small yet powerful drone that turns the sky into your creative canvas easily and without worry, helping you make every moment an aerial moment. Its compact size hides a high degree of complexity that makes it one of DJI’s most sophisticated flying cameras ever. 24 high-performance computing cores, an all-new transmission system with a 4.3mi (7km) *range, 5 vision sensors, and a 4K camera stabilized by a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, are at your command with just a push of your thumb or a tap of your finger. *Unobstructed, free of interference, when FCC compliant.
