MIOPS have developed an all-in-one camera trigger able to wirelessly connect to your smartphone and open up an array of camera features that would normally require multiple devices.
The MIOPS Mobile can be mounted to cameras via hotshoe and syncs with smartphones over a bluetooth connection. The added functionality granted from the battery-sized sensor allows cameras to shoot timelapse, motion, sound, and vibration-triggered photos and video in fresh new ways.
The app features all the usual settings you’d find in a Triggertrap. Of particular note, is the surprisingly nifty roadlapse feature that monitors the distance travelled inside a car when shooting timelapses.
MIOPS mobile connects to cameras via the shutter release port and is said to be compatible with over 350 brand models from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Olympus, Hasselblad and Fujifilm.
MIOPS plan to deliver the mobile remote in April 2017 through its Kickstarter campaign which currently raised US$43,000 of its US$50,000 goal with 38 days left to go.
Those interested in the MIOPS Mobile remote can back the project for US$79 on Kickstarter. See here for more details.
