Fujifilm Release Instax Mini Monochrome Film

Fujifilm haven’t fully abandoned film yet, and have announced that they are bringing in a new Instax Mini film.

Instax Mini is one of Fujifilm’s most profitable film lines, so it’s less of a surprise that they are making new Instax films while dropping instant films.

Unfortunately it isn’t available for Instax Wide yet, although we expect that if this black-and-white film becomes popular for the Mini, Fujifilm will quickly adapt it over.

The “instax mini film Monochrome” responds to the increasingly sophisticated demands of users, enabling them to expand the artistic potential of their photographic expression and adding a further dimension of fun to use instax cameras and films.

It will be available in October 2016, and will include 10 frames per pack. The price isn’t available yet, but we don’t expect it to be much more than the Instax Mini colour films, which cost around US$10 per roll.
