A Quick Photoshop Fix For When One Eye Is Bigger Than The Other

Scott Kelby of KelbyOne provides a useful tip for fixing problematic photos where one eye is smaller than the other due to a wide variety of reasons – dust, sunlight, blinking etc.

Using a few Photoshop techniques you can actually copy the larger eye and transpose a copy of it onto the smaller eye, manipulating a few areas here and there until the eye appears natural.

Kelby walks us through the rather complicated process and points out the common mistakes that draw attention to the clone eye to avoid botching the job and making it a Photoshop fail instead.

Of course, you can also make use of Photoshop’s recent Face-Aware Liquify tool to create facial symmetry too, the choice is entirely yours.
