NASA Captures Footage of The Sun in Glorious 4K! [Video]

Last month, NASA shared their first video shot with a 4K UHD camera. It was a simple demonstration meant to illustrate how they’ll be able to capture every little detail.

Well, NASA sure as hell made an effort not to disappoint this time around because they’ve only gone and uploaded the sun to YouTube!

Don’t let that 4K burn you.

NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) captures images of the Sun in 10 different wavelengths, each of which helps highlight a different temperature of solar material.

How awesome is that?! 30 minutes of scorching sun, set to the soothing beats of Lars Leonhard, but if you want something even more epic, there isn’t a better time to watch NASA’s video while bopping along to John Murphy’s Adagio in D Minor!
