Update: Only 100 pieces will be made, and it will cost $2,999 USD.
This lens is so large that the manufacturers can’t even keep a lid on it.
A Weibo user recently leaked images that seem to show a pre-production Mitakon Zhongyi 135mm f/1.4 on a Sony and Canon body, presumably meaning that Nikon would be included too.
It’s part of their Speedmaster series, which at the moment is available only in Sony E, Canon EF, and Nikon F.
At the moment the only 135mm that is almost this fast is the Sony 135mm f/1.8 Carl Zeiss T*; close, but no cigar.
Bokeh for days.
Imagine how fun it would be to manual focus a 135mm at f/1.4.
