You may not have heard of Urban Photographer of the Year, but it’s a competition that has apparently gone on for 9 years.
The competition features some pretty interesting categories; alongside the typical regional awards, it has also added a mobile award this year (won by Cocu Liu from China), and includes a section titled ‘Hourly Winners’ where photographers are invited to send 24 images captured from every hour of the day (heavy editing seems a prerequisite for submission however).
