For some people, the 50-megapixels of the upcoming Canon 5Ds isn’t enough. How about 365-gigapixels? A group of five mountain-loving photographers spent two weeks at an altitude of 3,500m, enduring -10c temperatures, taking 70,000 photos of Mont Blanc in order to create this mammoth panorama project, known as in2white. And all it took was two months of post-processing, resulting in a 46-terabyte file.
The team was led by Italian photographers Filippo Blengini and Alessandra Bacchilega. They used a Canon EOS 70D with an EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM on a 2x converter.
